Lundahl LL1627-PP Tube Amplifier Output Transformer for Push-Pull Output Stages

The Lundahl LL1627-PP is made for tube amplifiers using push-pull output stages. It uses the LL1627 primary winding configuration with a turns ratio of 4 x 8.5 : 8 x 1, making it the low-impedance option in this transformer family. Depending on the secondary connection alternative, the primary load impedance is 2.3 kΩ, 1.2 kΩ or 0.65 kΩ.

Its highly sectioned winding structure with harmonically sized sections helps minimize leakage inductance, while the low-capacitance coil winding technique supports a wide frequency range. The LL1627-PP uses a special Lundahl audio C-core with a 25 μ air gap for push-pull use, allowing for a small DC unbalance in the output circuit.

The LL1627-PP is suitable for demanding tube amplifier builds and other high-quality audio components where a robust output transformer is required.
