Morel PowerSlim 6 Ultra Shallow 6″ Woofer 4 Ohm

The Morel PowerSlim 6 Woofer is a very shallow profile in-car woofer designed to fit in the most restricted mounting positions – this drive unit opens up a wealth of possibilities and represents a very high quality audio solution for difficult automotive installations. It features an ultra-low profile with a basket depth of 14.1mm and has an oversize motor system with a 54mm voicecoil (wound with Aluminium Hexatech wire) & a vented Neodymium magnet. The woofer has a composite pulp diaphragm in the form of a large shallow dome.

By using a unique 6″ dome diaphragm Morel has managed to move the voice coil and magnet towards the front of the driver creating a one of a kind woofer. Thanks to the dome diaphragm, this driver also has remarkable on and off axis response up to 3,000 Hz making this driver ideal for use in 2-way speaker designs.
