HiVi M8N-1 8″ Aluminum / Magnesium Woofer

The HiVi M8N-1 has been optimized for extended and dynamic bass reproduction in vented systems. The clarity and accuracy provided by the unique one-piece aluminum/magnesium cone is remarkable. This high rigidity diaphragm accurately reproduces transient attacks, contributing to a naturally dynamic and articulate sonic character in the bass and midbass regions. A high temperature Kapton voice coil, air transparent spider, and 1-3/8″ voice coil provide good power handling. This woofer can be used to good effect in a medium sized 2-way system or as a woofer in a 3-way system. Recommended crossover upper frequency region for a 2-way system design is 1-2 kHz.
