The Duelund Coherent Audio JDM-CU-SN-600-0,022 belongs to the JDM Tinned Copper Foil capacitor series. JDM stands for Jensen Domestic Market, referencing Duelund’s close work with Jensen capacitor manufacturing and the use of Jensen winding and impregnation machinery at Duelund’s revamped factory.

Its construction uses a wax paper in oil dielectric, a formula previously reserved for Duelund’s top CAST series. The paper separating the copper foils is deeply vacuum impregnated, and the windings are then wax impregnated to help seal the assembly completely. This makes it a strong choice for demanding crossover components where stable, high-quality parts are required.

The JDM Tinned Copper Foil series is suitable for speaker crossovers, signal electronics, and bypass capacitor applications. As a premium foil design, it is also the superior replacement for the discontinued Duelund Copper Foil Precision Bypass Capacitors, making it useful for upgrades and repairs involving high-grade capacitors.

The outer capacitor body is made from paper and potted using the same material as Duelund’s CAST models. The outer leadout, positioned closest to the capacitor edge, is connected to the outer foil and should be connected to the lowest impedance path to ground, generally the signal output.
