JDM stands for Jensen Domestic Market, a reference to the Jensen capacitor manufacturing heritage and to the close cooperation between Jensen and Duelund. This capacitor is built for demanding audio circuits where component quality matters.

Its construction uses a wax paper in oil dielectric combined with tinned copper foil. The paper separating the copper foils is vacuum impregnated in a deep vacuum, followed by wax impregnation of the windings to help seal the capacitor completely. This makes it a robust choice for premium crossover components and other audio electronics.

The JDM tinned copper capacitor is suitable for speaker crossovers, signal electronics and bypass capacitor applications. The outer material is paper, with the capacitor winding potted inside using the same material approach as Duelund’s CAST models.
