The REDCATT 101NCD is designed as a high-performance HF transducer for compact professional loudspeaker systems. Its 1.0″ exit throat and compact 86 mm overall diameter make it well suited for space-conscious audio components, including compact line-array and portable PA designs where low weight and high output are important.

A neodymium magnetic circuit gives the driver precise control over the polyimide/Kapton diaphragm assembly while keeping the package compact. With 108.5 dB sensitivity and low-distortion, high-SPL performance, the 101NCD is a strong option for demanding tweeters and horn-loaded HF sections.

Power handling is specified at 20 W AES, 40 W continuous, and 80 W peak. The diaphragm is attached to a high-temperature Nomex voice coil former, supported by advanced adhesive bonding and dome treatment processes to improve long-term reliability in professional audio use.

The 101NCD is suitable for 2-way PA tops, portable column PA systems, commercial install systems, and other weight-critical speakers that require a compact compression driver.
