The Dayton Audio UMII12-22 Ultimax II DVC Subwoofer is engineered for exceptional low-frequency performance. The one-piece Nomex honeycomb cone, reinforced with woven heavy-duty glass fibers, ensures rigidity and resistance to deformation. The tall-boy rubber surround and dual linear stiffness spiders allow for extended linear excursion, minimizing distortion even at high power levels. This subwoofer handles 600 watts RMS and 1,200 watts peak, making it capable of producing powerful and clean bass.

Its dual 2-ohm voice coils provide versatile wiring options, allowing for stereo 2 ohm or mono 1 ohm configurations when connecting to high current car audio or professional audio amplifiers. For home audio setups, wiring the voice coils in series yields a 4-ohm load for greater amplifier compatibility. Additionally, the large vented pole piece and under-spider ventilation improve thermal management and reduce power compression, ensuring consistent performance.
